Independent Publishers Group Adds 11 Publishers

CHICAGO, IL - Independent Publishers Group (IPG) has added 11 more publishers across its distribution programs.

Chicago publisher Health Administration Press (HAP, www.ache.org), a division of the Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), joined the Academic and Professional program with distribution that began on October 1, 2019. HAP is dedicated to fostering healthcare management excellence and producing the highest-quality content, written by leading experts in healthcare management.

Trafalgar Square Publishing (TSP), IPG’s international distribution division, added several publishers this fall. G2 Entertainment (www.g2rights.co.uk), one of the UK’s premier sports and special interest publishers, began distribution on September 1. Indigo Press (www.theindigopress.com), publisher of literary fiction and non-fiction and founded by several publishing veterans, and Scandinavia House Publishing (www.sph.as), a Denmarkbased publishing house specializing in illustrated children’s books, Bibles, and inspirational books and gift books for the Christian market, both began distribution on October 1.

In January 2020, TSP will be the official vendor of record in the US and Canada for children’s publishers Wacky Bee Books (www.wackybeebooks.com) and Duckbill Books (www.duckbill.in), as well as the health and wellbeing publisher Trigger Publishing (www.triggerpublishing.com). Wacky Bee Books publishes books for children ages 5 to 8 (“Little Bee”) and 9 to 12 (“Big Bee”). India’s Duckbill Books is a multi-award winning children’s book publisher with books aimed at independent readers up to young adults. Trigger Publishing is devoted to opening conversations about mental health and wellbeing and is chaired by former Quarto CEO and Sterling President Marcus Leaver.

Elva Resa Publishing (www.elvaresa.com), founded in 1997 and specializing in resources for adults and children about military family life, and Vesuvian Media Group (www.vesuvianbooks.com), a books-to-film corporation dedicated to creating quality entertainment across literary and visual arts, began distribution under the IPG line on September 1, 2019.

On October 1, IPG’s Midpoint Trade Books began distribution of Dram Good Books, Ltd (www.whiskybible.com), publisher of the world’s leading whisky guide, Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, and IPG Art began distribution of Royal Collins Publishing Group Inc (www.royalcollins.com), an eclectic publisher of titles on Chinese art and other scholarly topics.
